Coleen will use her new TV show to wage war on the fashion world’s obsession with Size Zero.
In one episode of Coleen’s Real Women, Coleen will pitch size 16 women against waif-like models from agencies like Storm and Elite to win a contract with lingerie firm Ultimo.
‘Coleen is on a mission to challenge the image-obsessed society we live in and put real women in to high profile advertising and modeling jobs,’ one source tells the Daily Mirror.
‘She’s been inspired by the Dove ads and thinks it’s time to turn the tables on Size Zero culture. With her profile there is no one better to do it.’
The ITV show, out next year, will see Coleen, 21, receive a new brief from an ad agency or brand each week.
A fashion producer and a booker will then help her search for real women to do the job.

- Coleen wrote in her Closer column that her new show isn’t about being against size zero, it’s just about giving ordinary women “with something special” a chance at modeling.

Hi, i just wanted to say that i think this show will be fantastic and i agree with all of your statments about ‘real women’. I am 25, single, happy, enthusiastic and a size 16 myself and am confident in myself and enjoy dressing to look good, without a stick thin waist. I will be watching for your programme and would love the chance at modeling. Kind regards Kerry x
Hi there I think what you are doing is fantastic! I am 22, happy and a size 16 I love being the size I am and wouldn’t change it for the world! I have been trying to get onto the plus size modelling band wagon for a while now but it is so hard with all these fake agencies on the internet I just don’t know who to trust it is what I have always wanted to do and have the support of my family and friends behind me.
Best regards
Laura xx
Ha, that? actually a really good suggestion. Many thanks so much for this!
