Coleen may be best known as Mrs Wayne Rooney but she doesn’t want to be thought of as just another WAG.
The 22-year-old points out that she has her own income and will never be found dipping into her footballer husband’s pocket.
‘People think I’m just a footballer’s wife and that I spend all his money,’ she says.
‘Actually, I only spend my own money. I have a career and my own celebrity and I don’t need Wayne for that.’
Her personal fortune is thought to be around £8 million, earned from her perfume deal, George At Asda campaign and TV presenting.
But since getting married in June, she now hopes to expand in another area.
‘Hopefully we can start a family,’ she tells S Magazine. ‘That’s something I’ve always wanted.’

i do love coleen and i know its not her fault tht she fell in love with someone who was destined to be rich and famous HOWEVER when she say she is her own celebrity and has her own career she has to be honest it did come from wayne , she may have become famous by her own thing anyway but she didnt she became famous from him so in effect its kinda both there money ! either way there married its no one elses buissness how they share there money i just felt like commenting !!! xxxxx
