Coleen “thrilled” her book did better than Wayne’s

Coleen has confessed she was secretly thrilled when her book beat Wayne Rooney’s in the best-seller lists.

She said her England star fella was teased by pals after her autobiography Welcome to My World stayed at No1 for longer than his offering.

She said: “Both mine and Wayne’s books did really well, but mine stayed at No1 for nearly two months, which was even better than his did.

“Wayne doesn’t mind though. He’s made up about how my book went.”

Coleen, who has made around £10million from advertising, book deals and a perfume range, told new! magazine: “I’ve come out from under Wayne’s shadow and made a name for myself, but that’s not something I set out to do.

“People are beginning to know me as me, but I’ll always be his partner.”

Coleen, 21, also confessed she despises being called a WAG. “I hate the word,” she grumbled.
