Coleen may be best known as Mrs Wayne Rooney but she doesn’t want to be thought of as just another WAG.

The 22-year-old points out that she has her own income and will never be found dipping into her footballer husband’s pocket.

‘People think I’m just a footballer’s wife and that I spend all his money,’ she says.

‘Actually, I only spend my own money. I have a career and my own celebrity and I don’t need Wayne for that.’

Coleen is seen above arriving at a family celebration at Liverpool’s Sir Thomas Hotel. She wore a see-through yellow top with jeans and a large Chanel bag.

Wayne and Coleen are said to have shelved plans to hold a second wedding reception in the UK.

The pair, who tied the knot in Italy last month, apparently told extended family they’d have a bash for those who couldn’t attend the £5million do.

But now Wayne and Coleen, both 22, are thought to have made a U-turn – because they’re too tired from their honeymoon.
