Coleen has had to make an emergency dash to New York just two weeks before her wedding to Wayne Rooney – after discovering that her £100,000 Marchesa dress no longer fits.

The last-minute glitch has thrown her wedding plans into chaos, and she had to drop everything yesterday to jet out to see the top designer in Manhattan.

Coleen’s pre-wedding diet has proved a little bit too successful – and she has dropped bust sizes.

For his wedding to Coleen next month, Wayne has reportedly requested Westlife to perform. The couple have decided to marry at a former 14th century monastery on the Italian riviera June 14, when the music band takes a break from touring.

Thesun.co.uk reports that Wayne was eager to have the band at least perform for the wedding after they couldn’t make it for Coleen’s 21st birthday.

With her wedding just weeks away, Coleen McLoughlin is beginning to put final preparations in place – including a vigorous fitness regime.

But it isn’t coming easily to the bride-to-be, who has admitted that with ‘101 other things’ on her to-do list, she’s struggling to find the time to work out.

She says: ‘Before I went to Miami I was going to the gym lots but since I have come back I’ve slacked a bit.

‘I have a personal trainer, Elise, who I’ve been training with since my fitness video. But she’s on holiday for two weeks so I’m trying to drag myself to the gym and do my own thing.’

When Coleen and Wayne marry on June 14 in Portofino, there will be some special guests in attendance – a cloud of colourful butterflies.

Attendees at the £3-million, cliff-top ceremony in a former Italian monastery will each receive a live butterfly to release after the ceremony.

The theme for the two days of celebrations at La Cervara was chosen by 22-year-old Coleen to represent the couple’s freedom to be their own people within marriage and was inspired by a rare butterfly species – the two-tailed pasha – native to the surrounding countryside.

Sir Alex Ferguson has always had a rocky relationship with the wives and girlfriends of his players, but he seems to like Coleen.

During David Beckham’s time at Manchester United, Sir Alex was particularly contemptuous of the midfielder’s wife Victoria – or ‘that f****** girl’. He blamed the Victoria for distracting her husband from his duties on the field.

But now the famously tough United manager has shown that he is mellowing – by giving his seal of approval to Wayne Rooney’s fiancee Coleen McLoughlin.

Coleen was left fuming after her brother’s designer suitcase went missing at Moscow airport recently.

Coleen was in the Russian capital to see fiancé Wayne Rooney play with his team Manchester United in the Champions League final, but she was forced to spend 90 minutes in customs while they searched for the lost luggage, while the other players’ friends and relatives waited on a coach in 80°F heat.

Coleen, 22, trawled through luggage with airport staff in a bid to find a suitcase belonging to her 20-year-old brother Joe.

According to reports, Coleen was approached by Tyra Banks, who is the show’s exec producer, after impressing Banks with her work on Coleen’s Real Women.

Victoria Beckham has revealed she and husband David have been left off the guest list for Coleen and Wayne’s wedding next month. But Posh says she isn’t bothered as she and Becks wouldn’t have been able to make it.

‘No invite has come through, to be honest,’ she says. ‘David obviously knows Wayne through England but they probably know David is playing all through the summer in LA. He will be working.’

Coleen and Wayne, who are tying the knot in Italy next month, have according to reports told their family and friends not to buy them wedding gifts – Instead, the big-hearted couple have asked that their loved ones donate to charity.

Coleen and Wayne apparently give more than £200,000 each year to various charities, including The Rett Syndrome Society.
