‘Perfect wife? I’m working on it!’ Coleen says in one of her first interviews since becoming Mrs. Rooney.

She’s considered one of the most stylish women in Britain, but there’s one person who still teases Coleen Rooney so much that she rushes to the mirror in self-doubt – her husband Wayne.

“My shape is classic British pear and I’ve got hips, legs and quite a round bum,” she says. “Wayne is really cheeky and says my bum looks big when I wear my Juicy tracksuits. I just laugh when he says it, but I do get up and have a look in the mirror.

“He says little things like that, knowing I’ll react. Whereas if you say something to him he’s not bothered. If I said he was wearing something I didn’t like, he’d wear it all the more.”

This is Coleen’s first interview since she became Mrs Rooney after marrying Manchester United and England football star Wayne on the Italian Riviera in June.

As most of you know, Coleen’s new book Coleen’s Real Style will be released this Monday (Sep 1) and she will be doing a few book signings early next month. View the dates, places and times below:

Coleen McLoughlin Rooney admits she’s struggling to get used to her new surname.

She still can’t believe her and Wayne are man and wife.

‘Me and Wayne [have] such a laugh about the Mrs Rooney thing,’ she says. ‘It was so funny on our honeymoon when we’d check into places and they’d call us Mr and Mrs Rooney.’

I know a lot of you fans (including myself) have been wondering why Coleen’s column in Closer hasn’t been featured in ages, and now we know why — She is now a columnist for OK! Magazine. In the new issue there is a brand new interview and pictures, along with her first column.

Coleen was seen enjoying a night out in Liverpool over the weekend. Her and Alex Curran partied at local hotspot Sintillate.

He was unveiled as the new face of Mercedes-Benz earlier this week and given a free car but Wayne Rooney has already received a parking ticket on the customised CL63 Coupe – and he didn’t even bother to remove it from his windscreen before driving off.

Wayne – who was criticised along with his England team mates for their poor performance against Czech Republic on Wednesday – was returning from a romantic dinner with new wife Coleen McLoughlin at Wings restaurant.
