Liam Gallagher has blasted Wayne and Coleen for their £5 million wedding, describing the extravagance as “ridiculous”.

Gallagher, who married Nicole Appleton in a basic ceremony earlier this year, admitted that he cannot understand the couple’s decision.

In an interview with The Times, he said: “You’ve got this kid who’s f****** 19 or whatever the f*** he is, who 20 minutes ago was playing for Everton, having a five million pound wedding! How do you f****** grasp that?

Wayne Rooney’s younger brother John is moving into his and Coleen’s £4million Cheshire mansion.

The 17-year-old, who lives in Croxteth, Liverpool, has just signed for League Two team Macclesfield Town, and he needs a place to stay while he’s contracted to them.

‘Staying at Wayne’s means a lot less hassle for John commuting to games and training,’ says a source.

She’s only been back from her honeymoon a month, but here’s the new Mrs Rooney already on another sunshine holiday – her ninth this year.

Coleen took mum Colette and dad Tony on a week-long getaway to Paphos on Cyprus.

The 22-year-old drank cocktails with Colette at the exclusive Elysium Hotel’s pool bar before relaxing on a sunbed.

This year Col’s gone without Wayne to Barbados in February, Miami in April, New York in May and Tenerife in June.

An onlooker at Col’s hotel said: “Married life must be exhausting for Coleen – she’s only managed to move from the pool to the sunbed all week.

“Maybe she needed the holiday to get over the last holiday.”

A quarter of 2000 women polled voted Coleen’s curves the ideal figure, beating Kelly Brook and Holly Willoughby to the top spot.

A spokesman for weight management tablet Formoline, who carried out the poll, said: “Coleen is a great role model for girls.

“She’s a curvy, healthy size and doesn’t try to maintain an unobtainable weight. She also dresses really well for her shape.”
