Wayne to confess to priest before marrying Coleen?

Wayne Rooney may confess his sins to a priest before he marries fiancée Coleen McLoughlin in a Catholic ceremony next month.

The couple are due to tie the knot on 14 June and Wayne will be invited into the confessional box before the service.

In his autobiography Wayne admitted Coleen, 22, was ‘devastated’ when he cheated on her with a prostitute 6 years ago.

Although a pre-wedding confession is not compulsory, it can be seen as ‘wiping the slate clean’ a church spokesman tells the Sunday People.
